房屋申请流程 for Undergraduate Students

住房政策: Campus Housing Requirement

North Park University requires undergraduate students to live on campus for the first 3 years, with the exceptions of students who are commuter/local*, 兼职, 结婚了, 或者超过21岁. Become familiar with this policy and the financial penalties for not abiding by this policy.

*Local or commuter students are those who live within a 30-mile radius of the campus with their parent or guardian. These students must also submit commuter applications to be approved to live off-campus.

You will be eligible to apply for on-campus housing only 后 you have been accepted to the University and at least 24 hours 后 you have paid your 学费存款. 申请住房必须:

  • After you have paid your housing deposit, you will receive housing information and instructions to your NPU email address. These are sent to deposited students beginning in February (for the fall semester) and October (for the spring semester).
  • You will receive an on-campus housing assignment 后 you have registered for your first-semester courses.

住房押金

This housing deposit is held the whole time you are a student at North Park University and returned to you when you graduate. The deposit amount you receive back when you graduate may be less than $250 if any damage fees, 锁定服务费, 钥匙更换费, or other housing process fees were assessed during your stay in on-campus housing.

Your housing deposit will be refunded to you if you cancel your reservation for North Park housing before August 1 for the fall semester or December 15 for the spring semester.

室友作业

There are two options for selecting or being assigned a roommate for your first year at North Park:

  • 说出一个室友的名字: If you know who you would like to live with, make sure you both make this same request on your housing application. North Park will honor these requests as much as possible; however, both you and your desired roommate must turn in your housing deposits and applications before you can be placed together.
  • 与室友匹配: Questions on the housing application about your intended major, 活动, 生活习惯, and other information help our Residence Life staff place roommates together. While we try to choose roommates that will be a good fit together, please remember that the questions are not perfect measures, 配对并不是一门完美的科学.

房屋分配时间表

Housing assignments are made on the basis of when housing applications are received. If we receive your housing application by June 26, your housing assignment and roommate information will be available to view online on June 26. For all applications received 后 June 15, housing assignment and roommate information will be available two to three weeks 后 you submit your application.

Please follow these steps to check your housing assignment 后 June 26:

  1. 去 自助服务.
  2. Log in with your North Park username and password.
  3. 点击“学生”.”
  4. Click on “Campus Housing Information” under the Student Communication heading.
  5. Select your start term to view your housing assignment.

餐计划

All students living in University residence halls (Anderson, 自治市, Ohlson) are required to purchase one of three available meal plans for our campus dining hall. Meal plans are also available but are not required for resident students living in undergraduate campus apartments and houses.
