Internships are available to any student in the traditional undergraduate program at North Park University. No matter what you’re studying, an internship may be a great way to 拓展你的技能 和 explore options for jobs after college.

有些程序(如 体育训练 和 护理) integrate internships 和 clinical experiences so closely into the curriculum that your departmental faculty will assist you in your placements.

Other 项目 require internship credit to earn a degree (such as business 和 economics concentrations), but you are responsible for finding an internship site. That’s where we come in: in partnership with your faculty advisor, we can assist in the process.

合格标准

Juniors 和 seniors 必须 meet the following criteria to participate in the academic internship program:

  • Approval of internship faculty sponsor/department is necessary before the student begins the process of obtaining an internship.
  • 学生 必须 have junior or senior class status 和 declared major.
  • 学生 必须 have been enrolled at North Park University for two semesters 之前 to the inception of the internship.
  • 学生 必须 have an overall GPA 必须 be above 2.0/4.申请时为0.

  • 学生 必须 register for 1 to 8 hours of credit, with a minimum 40 hours of work for every credit hour awarded.
